1. The Zero-Knowledge Principle

Ratio Protocol was engineered as a cognitive instrument, not a data extraction tool. We operate under a strict "Zero-Knowledge Principle." This means we cannot sell, share, or analyze what we cannot see. Your data is sovereign.

2. Sensor & Location Data Disclosure (On-Device Processing)

All core functionalities of the Ratio Protocol application—including acoustic deployments, localization triggers (Auto-Drive), and protocol engagement metrics—are processed entirely on your local device. Pursuant to Google Play Developer Policies, we disclose the specific technical usage of device sensors:

• Precise Location & Background Access: The application requests ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION to calculate GPS speed and trigger context-aware protocols (e.g., Auto-Drive and Geofencing). This enables the app to detect when you leave home or arrive at a transit hub, even when the app is closed or not in use.
• Physical Activity Recognition: The application requests ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION to detect physical motion states (e.g., "In-Vehicle" vs. "Still"). This prevents unintended protocol triggers during stationary periods and optimizes battery performance.
• Ephemeral Processing: All coordinate, speed, and motion data is processed ephemerally. This means the data is used in real-time on your device and immediately discarded. Ratio Ventures LLC does not transmit, store, log, or share your location history, speed, or activity data with our servers or any third parties.

3. Information We Collect

We only collect data that is strictly necessary for account management, subscription processing, and system optimization:

• Account Information: If you create an account, we collect an email address and salted password hash.
• Financial Information: Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple App Store and Google Play infrastructures, managed via RevenueCat. We never see or store your credit card information.
• Crash Reports: Opt-in diagnostic data to ensure application stability in high-friction environments.

4. The Waitlist & Newsletter

If you opt-in to "The Monthly Ratio" newsletter or waitlist via our website, your email address is collected solely for direct communication and delivery of tactical assets. We do not sell this list. You may initialize an exit protocol (unsubscribe) at any time.

5. Data Enclave & Storage

• Local-Only Storage: All protocols, day-counts, and custom configurations are stored locally on your device's encrypted storage.
• Cloud Syncing: If you choose to enable cloud syncing (e.g., via iCloud or Google Drive), your data is stored in your personal, end-to-end encrypted account. Ratio Ventures LLC does not possess the keys to decrypt or access this data.
• Zero Logs: We do not track or record your specific progress or "Stoic Journey" on our servers.

6. Third-Party Services

• Subscription Fulfillment: We utilize industry-standard providers (e.g., Apple/Google) to manage premium access. They process your transaction data; we receive only an anonymous "token" confirming your subscription status.
• Diagnostics: We may use anonymous crash reporting to maintain system stability. No personally identifiable information (PII) is included in these reports.

7. Communication Uplinks (Newsletter Processing)

While your Protocol Data remains strictly local, you may choose to provide your email address to receive briefings.

• Third-Party Processing: We utilize Beehiiv to manage subscriber lists and deliver "The Monthly Ratio." By subscribing, you acknowledge that your email and subscription tier (e.g., Founder vs. Standard) are processed by Beehiiv in accordance with their security standards.
• Strict Usage: Your email address is collected strictly for transmitting the newsletter and essential system updates. Ratio Ventures LLC does not sell, rent, or monetize your contact information.
• The Firewall: Your email is never linked to your local Protocol Data. We never know what you write in the app, even if we know who you are on our email list.

8. User Rights & Termination (Data Deletion)

• Protocol Data: Because we do not store your data on external servers, deleting the application from your device effectively purges all locally stored data associated with the Protocol.
• Communication Data (Opt-Out): You retain full sovereignty over your inbox. You may revoke your subscription at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any briefing or by contacting support to request removal.

9. Protocol Updates

We reserve the right to update this policy as the instrument evolves. Structural changes will be communicated via the app terminal interface.
